Habit details

Click a habit's name in the habits list to open its detail screen. It shows what the habit actually does — the exact steps — not just its name, whether you taught it or Plainwork detected it automatically.

Rename

Click Rename next to the title, type a new name, and press Enter. The new name is used everywhere and syncs to your other devices.

Read the steps

Each step lists what it does in plain language — "Click 'Send' in Slack", "Read the list of issues from Linear" — with a tag for anything that:

• needs review: A best guess Plainwork wants you to confirm.
• needs your approval (⚠): An irreversible step that pauses on every run.

The details section below shows the schedule, when it last ran, and any folders the habit is allowed to read.

Change a step (re-learning)

1. Click Edit on a step.
2. Update its title and/or describe what the step should do.
3. Click Save & re-learn.

Because you've changed what the step should do, Plainwork can no longer trust the element it learned before, so it re-learns that step: the habit drops back to Draft and won't run on its schedule until you run it once and publish it again. This keeps a changed habit from acting on a stale, wrong target.

Delete

Delete removes the habit after a confirmation. You can also pause or resume it from here without deleting.
