Your account

Set a profile photo, change your display name, and check the address you sign in with, all inside the app.

Your account lives in the app. Open it from the avatar menu → Account, or from Settings → General → Manage Account.

Add a profile photo

  1. Click Upload and pick a JPEG, PNG, GIF or WebP image, up to 10MB.
  2. Drag to reposition and use the slider to zoom.
  3. Click Save photo.

Your photo replaces your initials everywhere in the app. Change swaps it for a new one and Remove deletes it. Both discard the previous image for good.

If you signed in with Google and haven't uploaded anything, your Google picture is used.

Change your display name

  1. Click the pencil next to Display name.
  2. Type the new name and press Enter.

The name is what you appear as in Plainwork and the name people see on invites you send.

Your email

The address you sign in with is shown but can't be edited here. To move your account to a different address, use Send Feedback in the avatar menu and we'll do it for you.

Sign out

Sign out from the avatar menu, or from Settings → General. That ends the session on this device only. Your other devices stay signed in, and the habits you've taught stay on the machine. Signing back in picks up where you left off.
