Inviting people

Invite people to Plainwork by email or with a shareable link, and see who has joined.

Open Invite from the avatar menu → Invite people, or from Settings → General → Invite. Plainwork is in open beta, so anyone you invite can sign up straight away — an invite is a nudge, not a gate.

Invite by email

  1. Type their email address. A name is optional and only personalises the greeting.
  2. Click Send invite.

They get an email from Plainwork saying you invited them, with a link to download the app.

Copy link puts a download link on your clipboard. It works for anyone, as many times as you like.

Who has joined

The list shows everyone you've invited:

  • Invited: the email went out, but they haven't created an account yet.
  • Joined: they signed up with that address after your invite.

Notes:

  • Invite as many people as you like, there's no limit.
  • Inviting the same address twice does nothing. Resend by sharing the link instead.
