Getting started
Verifying your email
How email verification works and what to do if the link doesn't arrive.
last updated
Every Plainwork account must confirm its email before it can sign in. This keeps someone from signing you up with an address that isn't theirs, and keeps password reset safe.
After you sign up
- We create your account with the unverified email.
- We email you a verification link.
- Click Verify email in the message. That confirms the address and signs you in.
The link is valid for 60 minutes and works once.
I didn't get the link
- Check your spam or promotions folder.
- Confirm you typed the email correctly.
- Click Resend verification email on the "Check your inbox" screen, or sign in with your password to send a fresh email.
- On a corporate domain, ask IT to allow mail from
noreply@plainwork.com.
"Invalid token"
The link expired (over 60 minutes) or was already used. Request a new one from the Check your inbox screen.
Signed in with a one-time code?
Then you're already verified! Entering the code proves you control the email.
